04-30-2008 — OK, so maybe the Gallery is not working quite right yet. Please be patient as we beat our heads against a wall while trying to get the ISP to fix the problem they created.

04-25-2008 — Today's aviation update is dedicated to the NASA research aircraft based at Moffett Field in Sunnyvale, CA.  We've added walkarounds of the civilian version of the C-141 - Lockheed L-300-50A Starlifter KAO - Kuiper Aerial Observatory, Boeing 747SP-21 SOFIA - Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy and Lockheed ER-2 NASA - a civilian version of the famous U-2 spyplane.

We've also added two more albums of the contest photos from the 80s from Rodney Williams - OrangeCon 1987 and Central Valley Model Contest 1988.

04-21-2008 — First part of the photos from SVSM Kickoff Classic 2008 show have been posted.  Stay tuned for more photos and the results from the event.

04-18-2008 — The armor update today comes from Littlefield's museum.  We've added photos of the very early M60 prototype (possibly one of the technology demonstrators with soft armor hull) and updated the Matilda MkII Series 4 album with over 50 photos of the interior.  Both of those were added to the Armor album.  We've also added photos of the Tracked Rapier anti-aircraft missile system to the Missiles album.   And finally we've added the photos of the 1938 Buick Model 41 w. Sidemounts brought to the museum by one of the visitors to the Softskins album of the Gallery.

04-10-2008 — In today's theme update we've posted photos of the equipment used by the 129th Rescue Wing stationed at Moffett field in Sunnyvale, CA.  We've added photos of the Lockheed MC-130P Combat Shadow and Sikorsky HH-60G Pave Hawk to the Aircraft album.  The photos of the Honda Foreman ES ATV were added to the Softskins album and the photos of the Rigid Inflatable Boat were added to the Miscellaneous album.  All photos were taken during Capital City Air Show 2008 in Sacramento, CA

04-02-2008 — We posted another look back in time to the 80s courtesy of our own Rodney Williams.  We've added photos of the San Diego Aerospace Historical Center taken in 1987, 1988 Madera Air Show and 1989 Moffet Field Airshow.  We've also posted photos of the 1987 Region 9 Regional in Fresno.

03-28-2008 — The armor update for today comes from Kubinka armor museum in Moscow.  We've added albums of the rare German PzKpfw VI Tiger I heavy tank, soviet copy of the French FT-17 light tank - Russian Renault (Russkiy Reno), one of the very few surviving unmodified early T-44 MBTs and KSP-76 Experimental Wheeled Self-Propelled Gun.  All have been added to the to the Armor album.

To the Members' Models Gallery we've added photos of the Soviet Su-85M SPG, 1/72 Dragon by Vladimir Yakubov.

03-20-2008 — Today we have an unusual update.  One of our club's long time members Rodney Williams was kind enough to give us some of his photos from the old IPMS events. We've uploaded photos from the 1988 IPMS Nationals in Dayton OH and 1989 IPMS Nationals nationals as well as 1988 and 1989 San Jose Shows.

03-16-2008 — From Aerospace Museum of California we've posted the walkarounds of the Sikorsky CH-3E Jolly Green Giant, Composite Engineering BQM-167 Skeeter Aerial Target Drone and Pratt & Whitney J58 Engine used on SR-71 Blackbird.  We've also added photos of the Ferrari Mondial from Palo Alto Concourse d'Elegance.

03-08-2008 — Trying to clean up some of the archives we've posted three different albums from US Army Museum of Hawaii located at Fort DeRussy in Honolulu.  We've added Japanese Type 95 Ha-Go light tank to the Armor album, US 105mm M3 Airborne Howitzer to the Artillery album and US M1A1 Flametrower to the Infantry Weapons album of the Gallery.

03-01-2008 — Today's update has a theme - US "century" series fighters.  We've added 100+ photo walkarounds of the North American F-100D Super Sabre, McDonell F-101B Voodoo, Convair F-102A Delta Dagger, Lockheed F-104B Starfighter and Republic F-105D Thunderchief to the Aircraft album.  All of these walkarounds come from Aerospace Museum of California.

02-23-2008 — Today's armor update comes from various museums.  From Jacques Littlefield's collection we've added 146 new photos to the T-54A MTB album, from  Kubinka we've added photos of the experimental Su-100Y SPG, from Aberdeen Proving Grounds we've added photos of the American M20 Armored Car and finally from Belarusian Stalin Line museum we've added photos of the MT-LBu APC.

To the Members' Models Gallery we've added photos of the Soviet Missile Submarine K-162 (Papa class), 1/700, Samek by Vladimir Yakubov.

02-13-2008 — An aviation update today comes from the Aerospace Museum of California located at the former McClellan Air Force base.  We've added albums for Lockheed EC-121D Warning Star, Mikoyan-Gurevich Mig-17PF and McDonell-Douglas A-4C Skyhawk I to the Aircraft album.

We've also added photos from last weekend's IPMS Santa Rosa's  HobbyExpo 2008 contest held in Petaluma, CA.

02-06-2008 — A variety of subjects came together in today's update.  We've added 138 new photos of the Soviet T-34/85 tank from Jacques Littlefield's collection to the Armor album. Added German Würzburg Dora Radar from Imperial War Museum in London to the Miscellaneous album.  Added California Highway Patrol 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 B4C Police Car to the Automotive album.  And finally we've added Soviet PPSh Sub-Machine Gun from US Army Museum of Hawaii to the Infantry Weapons album.

01-28-2008 — Today's aviation update contains the second and the last part of the walkarounds shot at the Estrella Warbird Museum.  We've added photos of the North-American OV-10A Bronco, Grumman US-2B Tracker and Bell UH-1D Huey to the Aircraft album.  The photos of the Soviet 14.5mm ZPU-1 Anti-Aircraft Machine Gun were added to the Artillery album of the Gallery.

01-22-2008 — After a delay caused by some technical difficulties with a provider we've added a varied update.  We've added photos of US Polaris A-1 SLBM and Vought RGM-6 Regulus I Cruise Missile both from USS Bowfin Park in Honolulu, HI to the Missiles album.  From Moscow's Victory park we've added 19 new photos to the Matilda II album in the Armor album and Soviet 152mm D-1 Howitzer to the Artillery album of the Gallery.

We are still working on migrating the site to the new server and some service interruptions may be possible.

01-03-2008 — Aviation walks in this update come from the Estrella Warbird Museum in Paso Robles, CA.  We've added photos of the rare Douglas A-4A Skyhawk (one of only 165 early models built) and Grumman F-14B Tomcat to the Aircraft album of the Gallery..  We've also added photos of the 1912 Ford T Ambulance to the Softskins album of the Gallery.

12-26-2007 — A varied armor update today has tanks from three different museums.  From Kubinka we've added photos of the French Renault R35 light tank and Soviet JS-4 post-WWII heavy tank.  From Aberdeen we got the German SdKfz 135/1 15cm sFH13/1 (Sf) auf Geschutzwagen Lorraine Schlepper(f) self-propelled gun and finally from Littlefield's collection we've added 11 new photos for the British Bren Gun Carrier interior.  All have been added to the Armor album of the Gallery.

12-17-2007 — The aviation update comes from The National Museum of the USAF.  We've added photos of Bleriot Monoplane, Lockheed YF-22 Raptor, Cessna A-37B Dragonfly and Lockheed D-21 Drone.

12-06-2007 — Another update from Stalin Line museum contains armor, missiles and fortifications.  We've added a T-44 medium tank, BTR-50PK APC, S-200 Angara (NATO - SA-5 Gammon) SAM and updated the Triple Machine Gun Strong Point #292 with 28 new photos.

11-23-2007 — Continuing with clean up theme for the aviation update we've added last few remaining odds and ends from Chino's Planes of Fame museum - Heinkel He-162A-1 Volksjaeger, Hawker Hurricane Mk X and Bell P-39 Airacobra.  Also we've added photos of the Canadair CL215 firefighters taken at the local airport by Mick Burton.

We've also posted photos from the two local contests - Antelope Valley Classic, November 2007 and Yuba City Contest, June 2007.

11-14-2007 — Today's armor update comes wholly from Kubinka Armor Museum in Moscow.  We've added several rare tanks to the gallery - Soviet five turreted T-35 heavy tank from 1930s, JS-7 heavy tank from 1950s, German SdKfz 186 Jagdtiger SPG and finally T-34's V2 Tank Engine.  All have been added to the Armor album of the Gallery.

11-07-2007 — Today we've added the last of the Salinas Air Show 2007 photos and by coincidence all of the aircraft belong to the US Navy.  We've added Sikorsky SH-60B SeaHawk helicopter, McDonell-Douglas F-18C Hornet fighter and Beechcraft TC-12B Huron trainer.  All have been added to the Aircraft album of the Gallery.  We've also added a US Cletrac MG-1 tractor used by the US military in WWII to the Softskins album of the Gallery.

11-01-2007 — September's Meeting photos have been added to the Gallery.
