We’ve added the last of the walkarounds taken at the Fantasy of flight museum – Bachem Ba 349 Natter replica, SNCA du Nord Stampe.SV4, Curtiss-Wright SNC-1 Falcon and to round up the number of updates to the usual four here is Kugisho/Yokosuka K-1 Ohka from the National Museum of the United States Navy in Washington DC.
We’ve added four different armor albums from various locations. First one is a T-80B from the “Stalin Line” Museum in Belarus, another one is a M109A6 Paladin from Thunder Over Utah Air Show 2014, while the last two are FV701 Ferret Mk.1 and Schützenpanzer Lang HS.30 from the Military Museum of Southern New England.
Added four new albums to the Softskins Gallery – M985, HEMTT, M915 Truck, Tractor, Line Haul 50,000 GVWR 6X4 with M871 Trailer, Lowbed, 25 Ton, M1078A1P2, Truck, Cargo, LMTV Armored Cab and Liberty 400 SSV Water Trailer.
Added five new albums to the rarely updated categories – three railroad locomotives – Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 “Big Boy” #4023, Union Pacific DD-40X Diesel Locomotive #6900, Southern Pacific 1-4-0 Consolidation Locomotive #2579 and two fire engines – Sutphen Ladder Truck and Horse Drawn Steam Fire Engine.
We’ve updated four different categories from three different places. To the Artillery section we’ve added the photos of the 8 cm Granatwerfer 34 mortar photographed at Planes of Fame Air Show 2011, to the Armor section we’ve posted the photos of the replica Ba-64 armored car from the same event, the Infantry Weapons section was updated with the album of 7.92mm Vickers Machine Gun on Mark IV tripod on M6A1 cart photographed at MVCC Camp Delta 2012 and finally the photos of one of the famous Paris Taxis – Taxi Renault G7 dit from Musée de l’Armée in Paris were added to the Automotive section.
Added four albums that were done during B-29 FiFi’s visit to Salinas Airport last year. We have the photos of Boeing B-29A-60-BN Superfortress “FiFi” itself as well as North American SNJ-5 Texan trainer, Eurocopter EC-135P2+ medical helicopter and Beech D18S light transport aircraft painted as RAF Expediter II.
Today’s update has four naval related albums. First of all we’ve finally posted the last two albums from San Francisco Fleet Week 2012 – USS Preble DDG-88 and HMCS Edmonton MM-703 & HMCS Brandon MM-710 all seen entering SF Bay under the Golden Gate Bridge. We’ve also posted the last two albums from the National Museum of the United States Navy, they are – US 16in/50 Mark II Naval Gun and US 3″/23 Mark XIV Naval Gun.
