Starting a new series of photos from Seattle’s
Museum of Flight. We’ve posted the albums with Nieuport 27, Boeing P-26A Peashooter and Boeing Model 40B replica.
Here are three albums from the new set of photos that were taken at
Western Museum of Flight in Torrance, CA. The albums are – Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighter, Northrop JB-1 Bat and Northrop MQM-57B Falconer.
Maritime themed update today bring us the photos of the
Hong Kong Maritime Museum, the Diving Suit and 2.5″ Lyle Lifesaving Cannon from there, as well as 1918 Yacht Zumbrota photographed in Rio Del Mar, CA.
In this update we have added the various artillery pieces that are displayed on the grounds of the Canadian
Fort Rodd-Hill in Esquimalt, BC. The guns that were added are US 90mm M1A2 Anti-Aircraft Gun, British 13-pdr RML Field Gun and British 12pdr QF Coast Defense Gun.
Here are four different naval themed albums. Two of them are from Wilmington, NC –
USS North Carolina BB-55 and USCGS Diligence WMEC-616, while the other two are from Pearl Harbor, HI – Submarine Museum and Poseidon C3 SLBM.
Here are three Canadian wheeled armored vehicles photographed at the last year’s
Aquino Tank Weekend 2017. They are from the same AVGP family of vehicles – Cougar fire support vehicle, Grizzly APC and Husky recovery vehicle.

Here is a set of photos taken at
Fort Hancock in NJ. We’ve posted the photos of the remains of the coast defense batteries from there as well as US 6in Model 1900 coast defense gun and MIM-3 Nike Ajax missile on display at the fort grounds.

USS Midway (CV-41) from San Diego, CA, Clipper Cutty Sark and National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, UK, as well as Mallard II Dredge from Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge in Fremont, CA
Today’s artillery post is about US artillery photographed at the
South Carolina Military Museum in Columbia, SC. The artillery pieces are a US 6-pdr Battalion Gun, a US 3″ Ordinance Rifle, a US 3″ Model 1905 Field Gun and a US 3″ M1897A2 Field Gun.

Starting to post a large series of walkarounds from the
National Air & Space Museum – Udvar-Hazy Center, the other half of the Smithsonian located near the Dulles Airport. Today we’ve added the photos of Space Shuttle OV-103 Discovery, Cauldron G.4 and Curtiss F9C-2 Sparrowhawk.
Here is another series of photos from the recent trip to Australia, this time from a somewhat misnamed
Australian National Aviation Museum. It’s misnamed because it’s not really the official “national” museum of Australia, but rather a medium sized private museum that grabbed a loud name in the hopes of attracting visitors. This leads to a disappointment when you actually get there… But none the less where are three albums from there – DAP Mk.21 Beaufighter, Dassault Mirage III-O and Bristol 170 Freighter Mk 31.
