Here are three albums made in Pearl Harbor at the USS Bowfin Park. We’ve posted the photos of the USS Bowfin SS-287 itself, the 5″/25 Mark 17 Gun photographed on board the submarine and the SRC-15 Submarine Rescue Chamber photographed at the park.
Here are four different overviews of the museums and events that accumulated recently and have no attached walkarounds to them. The two event overviews are Tankfest Northwest 2015 that went on at Flying Heritage Collection in Everett, WA and Mojave Airport Open House 2013. The two museum overviews are USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, HI and Fly’N’ Wheels automotive museum in Torrance, CA.
Here is another series of photos from the recent trip to Australia, this time from a somewhat misnamed Australian National Aviation Museum. It’s misnamed because it’s not really the official “national” museum of Australia, but rather a medium sized private museum that grabbed a loud name in the hopes of attracting visitors. This leads to a disappointment when you actually get there… But none the less where are three albums from there – DAP Mk.21 Beaufighter, Dassault Mirage III-O and Bristol 170 Freighter Mk 31.
Posted five new albums taken at the The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library located in Simi Valley, CA, two presidential aircraft – Boeing VC-137A Air Force One and Sikorsky VH-3A Marine One, as well as three different vehicles from the presidential motorcade – 1983 Cadillac Presidential Limousine, 1986 Secret Service Chevrolet Suburban and 1982 LAPD Chevrolet Impala.
We’ve added three naval themed albums from the Australian National Maritime Museum located in Sydney, they are destroyer HMAS Vampire (D11), submarine HMAS Onslow and a British 40mm L60 Bofors Anti-Aircraft Gun in a Mk.III Mount.
