Today’s update has four naval related albums. First of all we’ve finally posted the last two albums from San Francisco Fleet Week 2012 – USS Preble DDG-88 and HMCS Edmonton MM-703 & HMCS Brandon MM-710 all seen entering SF Bay under the Golden Gate Bridge. We’ve also posted the last two albums from the National Museum of the United States Navy, they are – US 16in/50 Mark II Naval Gun and US 3″/23 Mark XIV Naval Gun.
Today’s update will have two albums from Florida’s Fantasy of Flight museum – the fuselage frame from CAC Boomerang fighter and Sikorsky S-39C flying boat, as well as two more albums from the National Air & Space Museum in Washington DC – Northrop Alpha and AAI RQ-7A Shadow UAV.
After a summer trip to Saumur’s Musee des Blindes we are starting to post walkarounds from there, the first four are – French WWI St. Chammond tank, Swedish Strv 103 S-Tank, French modern AMX-10RC reconnaissance vehicle and German WWII Sdkfz 179 Bergepanther.
After a short hiatus at the end of last year, we’ll start the year right by postin the photos from the National Air & Space Museum in Washington DC. We’ve posted three albums from there – Voisin VIII bomber from WWI, AAI RQ-2 Pioneer drone and Boeing Model 247D 1930s airliner.
We’ve also added a new model to the Member’s Models section, it is Uruguayan Cruiser Uruguay in 1/700 from Combrig, built by Vladimir Yakubov
Added four more albums from the Fantasy of Flight Museum in Florida. They are Morane A1, Grumman F3F-2, Polikarpov Po-2 and Short S.25 Sandringham 4.
During the last IPMS USA Nationals we’ve visited the US Army Transportation Museum located in Fort Eustis, VA, so here are three albums from it – TTSW Truck, Escort Wagon J-118 and RG-33L MRAP.
Posted last two albums from Hayward Airport Open House – Yakovlev Yak-52 trainer and IAI 1125 Astra business jet. Also added two more albums from the Fantasy of Flight Museum in Florida – Messerschmidt Me-108 Taifun liaison aircraft under restoration and Hispano Suiza 300 V8 Engine.
In anticipation of the Fleet Week naval parade this weekend we’ve posted four albums of the ships from previous fleet weeks – Canadian destroyer HMCS Algonquin DDH-283, coast guard cutter USCGC Alert WMEC-630, minesweeper USS Chief MCM-14 and supply ship USNS Guadalupe T-AO-200.
Four more albums from the Fantasy of Flight museum in Florida – Vought F4U-4 Corsair, Martin B-26 Marauder, Standard E-1 and Zlin Z.181.
Updating the long neglected categories of Fortifications and Artillery we’ve added four albums photographed in Florida – Fort Zachary Taylor in Key West, FL and US 10″ Rodman Gun on the Casemate Carriage photographed there, as well as Battery Laidley in Fort Desoto located at St. Petersburg, FL and US 6″ Coast Defense Gun on Armstrong Pedestal Mount from there.
Opening the new series of walkarounds, this one from Fantasy of Flight in Polk City, Florida. We’ve added the photos of Nieuport 17, Avro 643 Mk.II Cadet and Cierva C.30-A Autogyro.
It’s been a while since we’ve updated the armor photos, so to rectify that here are four albums with armored vehicles. From Latrun we’ve added the photos of BTR-50PK (IDF) and Tiran 6, while from MVTF we’ve added the Valentine V and M88 Hercules.

Posted the photos from the IPMS USA 2014 Nationals that were held last week in Hampton, VA.
Also posted the Awards Presentation Slide Show from the awards banquet that shows all of the winners. As usual the winners are posted in the reverse order – after the slide with the name of the category next model is the third place winner then second and then first.
