What's New?

The armor update for today comes from the Littlefield collection and contains the albums for AMX-13, M7B2 Priest, TrailBlazer ARV and 115 new photos for the PzKpfw IVH album.

More aircraft from Pima were added to the gallery - Douglas F4D-1 (F-6A) Skyray, Fairchild A-10A Thunderbolt II, Lockheed T-1A (T2V-1) Seastar and Bell AH-1S Cobra.

Today's aircraft update contains four more aircraft from Pima - Nakajima Ki-43-IIb Hayabusa (Oscar), Grumman E-1B Tracer, Lockheed DC-130A Hercules and Aero Spacelines 377-SG Super Guppy.

Updated a bunch of the more rarely updated categories by adding the Carl Gustav AT launcher to the Infantry Weapons, 1948 Peterbuilt 351 truck to the Automotive, Ford GPW to the Softskins and XRM-91 Blue Scout Junior rocket to the Space Exploration.

We keep posting photos from Pima and today we've added the Grumman F-11A Tiger, Panavia Tornado IDS, Boeing NB-52A Stratofortress and Sikorsky H-5G Dragonfly.

Since we haven't updated the missile section since July, it's time to do it now.  We've posted the 2K6 Luna-1 (NATO - FROG-5) SRBM from the Moscow's Central Armed Forces Museum, 9K57 (BM-27) Uragan MLRS from the Zadorozhny Museum and Raytheon AGM-129 Advanced Cruise Missile as well as Ryan AQM-34K Firebee from SAC Museum in Ashland, NE.

Pima Air Museum is located next to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base home to the 309th AMARG also known as "The Boneyard" - the place where the US stores its reserve aircraft.  Pima offers the bus tour of the storage areas, so in addition to the Pima visit we also took a tour and took photos of some aircraft located in storage.  We've photographed a Boeing T-43 Bobcat trainer, Douglas EC-24A ECM aircraft and Alenia C-27A Spartan transport.

During a recent visit to Moscow I've visited a Technical Museum of Vadim Zadorozhny, who is kind of like Russian Jacques Littlefield, with a difference that he collects everything not just tanks.  While there I've photographed the 2S3 Akatsiya SPG, Object 757 experimental missile tank from the 1960s and AT-P artillery tow vehicle.

We've also posted the photos of the IPMS Fremont Hornet's Tri-City Classic 2011.

Continuing with Pima Air Museum we've posted the photos of Shenyang J-6A (Mig-19PF) fighter,  Grumman AF-2S Guardian fire bomber,  Bristol Blenheim Mk IV medium bomber and Learjet Model 23 business jet.

The first update in November is about various softskins photographed in the former USSR.  We've added the photos of the Dodge WC53 and Ford-Timken Chassis from Moscow, as well as PZM-2 Regimental Earth Digger and PRV-13 Height Finder Radar from Belarus.
