Here are the photos form the last weekend’s SVSM 2016 Classic. Thanks to everyone who attended, judged and vendored. All of you help make the show the great success that it was!
Doing clean up on the various sets of photos from different places, posted the last of photos from several museums. The Beechcraft Model 2000 Starship from Evergreen, de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth and GAF Jindivik from Point Cook in Australia and Westland Wessex 31B from the Australian National Maritime Museum were all added to the gallery.
We’ve added three naval themed albums from the Australian National Maritime Museum located in Sydney, they are destroyer HMAS Vampire (D11), submarine HMAS Onslow and a British 40mm L60 Bofors Anti-Aircraft Gun in a Mk.III Mount.
Before USS Iowa moved to San Pedro to become a museum, it spent several months in Richmond getting ready for the move. While it was there there were a number of vehicles exhibited next to it, so here are some of them – Dodge WC21, 1/2 ton, 4×4, Ford GPW, Truck 1/4 Ton, 4×4, M35, Truck 2 1/2 Tons, 6×6 and another Ford GPW, Truck 1/4 Ton, 4×4.
A large update with six different Space related albums from Cape Canaveral and Air&Space Museum in Washington. The three Cape Canaveral albums are Mercury-Redstone Rocket, Mercury-Redstone Launch Pad and Astronaut Moonwalk Space Suit. The Air&Space Museum albums are Yuri Gagarin’s Space Suit, Alan Shepard Space Suit and Soyuz-19 Space Ship replica.

Added four different albums related to the USCG. We’ve posted the photos of the museum ship USS Ingham (WHEC-35) and its 5″/38 Mark 30 Dual-Purpose mount from Key West, FL, we’ve also added the photos of the USCG Motor Lifeboat CG36503 from Newport, OR and finally photos of the USCGC Boutwell (WHEC-719) taken at the last year’s Fleet Week in SF.
